Generac Power Systems – Work with the leader in the power industry! Our Corporate Headquarters in Waukesha, WI, is seeking an Account Manager I to join our Retail Sales team.
The Account Manager for new retail business is responsible for developing and implementing national sales strategies for increasing sales and profits through one major national customer as well as finding and executing new accounts throughout the US and Canada.
Channels include mass retail, sporting goods retailers, and specialty retailers in general with hardline CPG product lines. This role will be responsible for presenting sales material and following up on sales service to develop new business opportunities. This role represents the entire range of company products (primarily consumer level goods) while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring customers’ needs and expectations are met.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting; close vision and ability to adjust focus. Up to 35% travel including Canada and valid Driver’s License required.
