  • Overview

    The Parts Shipper II packs and prepares product for shipment as specified in the customer order and in accordance with policies and procedures. Responsible for the complete and accurate shipping of all products, Responsible for reporting accuracy of all shipping transactions in the ERP system. Supports goals and continued improvement of PDC. This Parts Shipper II also prepares appropriate documentation for shipment and takes ownership of basic 5S and housekeeping for their assigned area.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


    • Works independently; receives minimal guidance able to achieve KPI’s
    • Meets Picking or packing expectations                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                
    • Solves problems; demonstrates decision-making skills
    • Acts as a resource for employees with less experience •Ability to retrieve inventory by location, verify materials to designated areas
    • Represents stability with attendance, quality and attention to detail                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 
    • Inserts items into containers using spacers, fillers and protective padding may need to create packaging.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 
    • Uses company equipment and materials properly.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  
    • Strives to increase productivity.

    Basic Qualifications:


    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 0-2 years of experience or equivalent.
    • Detail oriented and organized

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.  The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls and talk or hear.  The employee is regularly required to walk; stoop; crouch; bend and reach above shoulders.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Temperatures can vary from cool to warm depending upon the season. The employee must comply with the assigned location PPE requirements including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing and shields for required tasks and closed toed or safety shoes as required by facility safety policies.
