    Generac Power Systems – Work with the leader in the power industry! Our office in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Shared Services Clerk.


    Under general supervision, the Shared Services Clerk supports the Accounting Department with accounts payable, credit memo processing, and cash application.  This position reports directly to the Shared Services Manager.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Process and review Customer Credit Memos related to product returns, credits, and sales accruals for accuracy as well as ensuring all necessary support and approvals are provided.
    • Process billing documents for training classes and inter-company.
    • Update approver tables and credit memo automation ques.
    • Process annual rebates and target incentive rebates.
    • Prepare various charts and reports including monthly credit memo reports, weekly deductions, and others as required.
    • Act as back-up for other tasks within Shared Services and support other accounting activities as needed.
    • Other duties to include but not limited to processing AP invoices, and perform other duties as assigned.



    Basic Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED;
    • A minimum of two years of experience in an office setting;

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with accounts payable or customer credit memos or cash application in a manufacturing setting;
    • Previous experience using SAP 
    • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Proficient with MS Office, Excel specifically;
    • Understanding of basic Accounting principles and a thorough knowledge of accounts payable/general ledger standard procedures;
    • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations quickly and accurately


    Physical Demands:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.  The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.  The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job include are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
