    JOB SUMMARY: The Engineer Coordinator is responsible for the creation, and task assignments for Engineering in the management of Engineering Change Notices (ECN) for their product line. Provides the revision actions of parts and/or documents when applied to an ECN. Gains any approvals for the assignment of engineering resources to ECN tasks if required.


    Responsible for creating all ECNs for new parts and documents including changes to parts and documents, to include:

    • Creating each New Part ECN for each individual part which being created.
    • Revising all part/docmument objects that are going through a change on an ECN.
    • Closely work with engineering and project teams to plan and implement ECNs for their respective product line.
    • Assigns tasks to the appropriate Design Engineer or Designer for the specific work required for the ECN.
    • Ensures that all required objects (parts & documents) adhere to and help improve support related procedures.
    • Maintains and improves technical knowledge in all aspects of process support.
    • Provides a high-level of customer service to consistently; and constantly provide engineering with the required change notices to support releases of new parts and changes.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.  The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion, the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.  The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job include are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.




    • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.  



    • 1 year of experience in technical support, help desk, or desktop support in a Windows environment.
    • 1 year of experience tracking and managing Bills of Materials for development builds and production release OR 1 year of experience supporting release of components and assemblies to manufacturing in a cross-functional environment



    • Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Technical Support or equivalent experience.
    • 1 year of experience with Windchill, TeamCenter, or Enovia.
    • 1 year of experience with specifically with engineering change/release processes and terms related to data management in a PDM/PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system
    • 1 year of experience in supporting engineering teams working in mechanical or electrical product design
