    Generac Power Systems- Work with the leader of the power industry! Our office in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Cyber Security Infrastructure Analyst.

     

    The Cyber Security Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for configuring and administrating IT security related technology for Generac’s Security and Governance.  You will initiate and manage ongoing initiatives to review and improve business and IT security compliance with legislative, regulatory instruments and other policies which impact on IT deliverables. This person will conduct ongoing and regular IT security Policy, Process, Procedure, and Standard reviews. Identify and prioritize new requirements. This role is also dedicated to analyzing and communicating information security risk across various disciplines within the IT organization.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Research and develop Cyber processes and conceptual solutions that meet Cyber objectives and strategies.
    • Coordinate with external vendors and internal product managers, platform leads, and Information Technology teams to plan, implement and upgrade security measures and controls.
    • Assist with documentation, development, implementation, and management of policies, processes and standards within the complex technical environment across data, voice and video service delivery platforms.
    • Administrate risk, gap and internal / external penetration analysis and penetration testing on a regular basis.
    • Manage network, intrusion detection and prevention systems.
    • Monitor systems for signs of attack or unusual activity.
    • Establish hardening standards and work with team to manage implementation of those standards.
    • Serve as audit compliance liaison for all systems managed directly or indirectly by IT.
    • Gather requirements around all cyber security related products.
    • Review project ideas and provide security standards to the technology teams, prescribing appropriate protection configurations that will balance business requirements with Generac’s technology standards.
    • Perform and document security update strategies.
    • Assist network team with firewall policy changes.
    • Investigate leading technologies in the marketplace and make assessments regarding applicability to Generac.
    • Perform risk assessments and report to key stakeholders for core production services and Cyber Security threat reporting to Generac IT leadership.
    • Provide security awareness support for the enterprise by planning campaigns and building delivery mechanisms at key touch points. Lead training and technical forums.
    • Measure the effectiveness of security awareness programs and delivery methods periodically.
    • Manage remediation, exception and risk acceptance efforts across the range of risk findings associated with diverse stakeholders across the enterprise.
    • Stay up to date on current compliance (NIST, PCI, HIPAA, SOX, etc..) regulations to align with Generac cyber security standards.
    • Learn from Security group & contribute tools, industry news & lessons learned.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
    • 5 years working in Information Technologies;
    • 3 years working with network protocols (TCP, UDP, DNS, FTP, SMTP, DHCP, etc.);
    • 3 years working with Cyber Security Methodologies & Technologies.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience patching and review security logs on various operating systems;
    • Experience with Mobile Device Management experience (Microsoft InTune, Airwatch);
    • Experience with Microsoft Technologies (O365, Exchange, SQL, Windows Servers, Windows Client);
    • Experience working knowledge of compliance audit requirements (SOX, PCI, GDPR, CFR21 Part 11, HIPAA, ISO9001);
    • Experience working with DLP Products (Forcepoint, Proofpoint, Barracuda);
    • Experience working with cross functional and global teams;
    • Experience with administration of firewall policies (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto);
    • Knowledge of open source products (OpenVAS, Squid, Mod Security (WAF), OWASP);
    • Knowledge of operating systems, storage platforms, and hardware technologies;
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills;
    • SAP Security Knowledge;
    • Technology Security certifications.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.  The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.  The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
