    Generac Power Systems - Join the leader in the power industry! Our Production facility in Jefferson, WI is seeking an Material Flow Engineer-Intern for our Operations Division.


    The Material Flow Engineer-Intern will support the operations & supply chain team by developing enterprise standards to support a demand driven philosophy and approach across the entire value chain. This position will assist in process improvement initiatives by implementing policies, procedures and process documentation related to safety, quality and continuous improvement directives.

    This position will focus primarily on material flow improvements within the Jefferson, WI production facility.  This position will report to the Supply Chain Manager.




    Organizes documents, standards, policies and procedures within our document control system. Helps to design material flow processes & improvements.

    Upload and organize documents on our intra-net for the entire organization to access.
    Prepares charts and reports in support of the operations team.

    Helps with training needs in support of new procedures and standards.


    Prepares standard work instuctions (SWI's) to facility the successful implementation of new processes.


    Basic Qualifications:

    Enrolled in an Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree program (Bachelors Degree preferred)

    Working towards a degree in Technical Writing, Business or Operations preferred
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Database skills are a plus

    Solid quantitative skill set and the ability to analyze, think and communicate with well-supported data.

    The ability to work a minimum of 15 hours during the school year is preferred.
