    Generac Power Systems – Work with the leader in the power industry! Our office in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Sales Coordinator.

    The Consumer Sales Coordinator is responsible for running reports using Generac sales software, managing third party partners/suppliers for distributor or retail programs, and maintaining and monitoring customer portals on Generac websites. This role also compiles and maintains promotional offers, distribution partner and customer information, and provides marketing/sales organization administration. The Consumer Sales Coordinator serves as a contact for marketing, advertising and sales communication.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Runs reports using Generac Marketing software
    • Manages third party partners/suppliers for distributor or retail programs.
    • Manages promotional calendar to ensure accuracy
    • Validate warranty promotions 
    • Compiles and maintains budgeting and national account accruals using spreadsheets.
    • Provides sales organization administration, including updating and distributing territories/personnel.
    • Creates and maintains process documents for the team to develop independence throughout the sales team.
    • Serves as a contact for Generac field sales team located throughout the country to assist with process management.
    • Maintains all information for current distribution partners or retail customers.
    • Serves as the point of contact for private label order management and program usage.
    • Assists and leads in planning distributor or retailer training, sales meetings, and customer visits.
    • Manages planned events, coordinating with sales, customers and venues ensuring effective execution.


    Basic Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalency 
    • Minimum 1 year administrative support experience

    Preferred Qualfications:


      • Associate’s degree in business or marketing preferred
    • 3 – 5 years of sales support or account administrative experience preferred;
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook);
    • Excellent interpersonal skills;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    • Effective time management skills;
    • Effective prioritization skills;
    • Ability to multi-task; detail orientation.


    Physical Demands:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.  The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.  The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job include are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
