Overview

Generac Power Systems- Work with the leader in the power industry! Our corporate headquarters in Waukesha, Wisconsin, is seeking a Parts Specialist- E-Commerce.

 

The E-Commerce Parts Specialist is responsible for the coordination and implementation of parts e-commerce projects.  This position will support the user experience by working cross functionally to fix web-related issues, define standards for parts descriptions, and execute online direct to consumer aftermarket parts marketing campaigns.  They will play a role in online development of new parts and services as well as continued innovation of current offerings.    

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordination and implementation of parts e-commerce projects & efforts including timely progress reports and evaluation.
  • Cross functional collaboration to define standards for naming practices parts descriptions.
  • Work with marketing to develop a plan for paid Search & SEO for e-commerce brand development.
  • Work with marketing to develop a plan for aftermarket sales opportunities via email marketing campaigns.
  • Support the user experience including site navigation and content development.
  • Execute online marketing campaigns for web content in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Cross functional departmental work on web-related issues.
  • Part Set Up & Structure; Assist in the online development of new parts and services and continued innovation of current offerings.
  • Makes basic updates to copy and photos.
  • Work with web developer for troubleshooting.
  • Collaborates with Digital Marketing Specialist on consistency of company presence and brand across social media platforms and ensure affiliates have necessary marketing asset
  • Act as SAP Super User within functional area as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

·         Associate’s Degree OR 2 years related experience within a similar working environment;

 

Preferred Qualifications:

                       

·         Ability to work independently with attention to detail;

·         Good written and verbal communication skills;

·         Experience with gas and diesel driven engine systems;

·         Electrical or mechanical aptitude and ability to read schematics;

·         Previous experience with auto parts look up and technical understanding;

·         Previous experience using SAP or equivalent ERP.
