Generac Power Systems – Join the leader in the power industry! Our Corporate Office in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Global Web Manager.



The Global Web Manager is responsible for overseeing and assisting with the development and implementation of the strategic vision for our corporate websites. As the Global Web Manager, you will bring the strategic vision for Generac’s online presence to life, and drive the execution of the organization’s global web platform. You will provide an enhanced online use experience for our customers, conceiving and driving digital marketing strategies to drive web traffic and an overall best customer experience. You will track conversations and make continuous improvements to the websites, measuring program success and developing strategies for improvement. Your success will result from driving digital and creative projects through both in-house and external creative teams and partners.


  • Plan and execute Generac’s website efforts including website architecture, overall design and layout with adherence to best practice and global web standards using internal and external support
  • Responsible for SEO/SEM improvements
  • Create standards for our global web platform
  • Measure and report key performance indicators
  • Identify trends and insights, and bring innovative ideas to executive leadership
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams and key stakeholders to drive the overall ‘look and feel’ of company websites, create specific purpose landing pages and optimize user experience consistent with creative and brand guidelines
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Oversee the collaboration with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Drive improvement efforts and maintain a positive user experience on Generac and Generac branded Websites
  • Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies, algorithms and other platforms that may affect our presence and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Marketing or related field or equivalent experience
  • 7 plus years of experience to include developing, implementing and managing strategic web marketing projects
  • Proficiency with CMS tools (preferably Kentico) , C+/C#, HTML, .NET, Flash, JavaScript, Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Office Suite, Share Point, Visio
  • Experience with multi-brand,multi-language website development
  • Experience with web design and software development to make changes to company website

  • Analytical skills capable of organizing and maintaining components of a project life-cycle
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to work independently and organize workload for effective implementation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and/or assignments concurrently
  • Creative thinking and problem solving skills, initiative and leadership


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.  The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.  The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job include and are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
